Compliance Checks
Compliance checks allow users to check how well their certification request meets NTIA standards (The Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management – aka “The NTIA Manual” or “The Red Book”). Compliance checks may be run at any time to allow the user to check their progress.
Compliance checks can also be run within the Curve Editor, providing a clear, graphical representation of non-compliance. For more information see Curve Editor.
EL-CID Online inherits all EL-CID Desktop compliance checks; where applicable, EL-CID Online incorporates additional DoD compliance checks.
To run the compliance check:
- Click on the
button in the toolbar. - A compliance options menu will pop up. Select compliance options. It is recommended that users select all compliance options. Users may generate a Full Record Print at the same time.
- After you select the
button, the compliance checks will generate as a PDF document: - The PDF may be downloaded.
